Major Build Changes
Build Number 10.116.4.x
Overview
Welcome to the AIMSCO's January 2023 Release. This release introduces new interface changes for the Base Table Manager and changes to Model Management.
Base Table Manager
This month's build introduces a new navigation methodology for the Base Table Management interface. When navigating into the Base Table Manager, users will now be presented with a list of the available tables to select from. Once a table is selected, you will be presented with the standard Base Table Manager interface from past builds.
In addition to the new navigation interface, the Product Build Data Base Table has been updated with a new interface that is easier to use and allows for some new features including the ability to re-order displayed data by any column. In addition, this change fixes a variety of bugs related to the Product Build Data management including:
- Fixing some import issues that were prevalent in certain types of use cases.
- Adjustments to the filters to allow more consistent display of data with multiple filters applied.
The changes applied to Product Build Data will be applied to other base tables in future builds.
Model Management
The Model Manager has been updated to make the eCheckitem Instructions attribute "Copy Safe". This means that target product eChecksheets can modify the original model-supplied value and future Model Applications will not overwrite those changes. The goal of this change is to improve management of eChecksheets within a single Managed Model, while allowing individual Products within that Model to have unique instructions and instruction images. Other eCheckitem properties that follow this behavior are:
- Part
- Check Item Image
- Check Item Use Flag
Quality Updates
This build also includes a variety of quality updates outlined below.
- Applied changes to the eCheckitem Auto Refresh functionality to prevent page slowdowns in cases where the Checksheet is configured with a large number of auto refresh items that also utilize the Default Value Web Service functionality.
- The Multi Defect Flow map for MTS Items that generate an NCM will no longer display the Disposition Popup if the generated NCM is a Final Disposition and would NOT be visible within the Disposition screen. Prior to this change, use of the Multi Defect Flow would result in a Disposition popup that was blank, causing confusion to the user.
- Corrected an issue in the Runtime Flow Map that caused errors when attempting to click the Prior button creating a Hold from the Runtime Check Item.
- Corrected a variety of cosmetic visual issues within the application. These are mostly appearance related such as overlapping text and clipping buttons.
- Corrected an issue that caused QC_ID edits to not work as intended from within the eChecksheet Edit interface in some cases.
- Corrected an issue that caused the MTS-P Check Items to not honor save when hitting the Enter button in some cases.
- Corrected an issue that caused Copy Checksheet to not work as intended when using the Copy to New functionality with the same root breadcrumb as the Source eChecksheet.
