Release Notes for Fall 2025 (Customer Preview)

Single Sign On (SSO): As a premium feature, we now offer Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with your Azure Domain. This allows end users to seamlessly sign into AIMS using their domain accounts. For more information, please contact sales@aimsco.com.

 

 

Comments and Attachments: We have introduced significant upgrades to comments and attachments. Our new interface enhances both functionality and aesthetics, reflecting long-awaited user requests. Users can now edit and delete comments, with role-based permissions ensuring control over who can make these changes. Importantly, a full record of the original comment is maintained for complete traceability.

 

Additionally, users can now upload multiple attachments to a single comment, with the ability to delete attachments as needed. This feature is also governed by role-based permissions, providing full control and traceability.

 

 

Enhanced Repair Page: We have given our repair page a modernized look, incorporating key updates based on customer feedback. These changes build upon the recent enhancements to comments and attachments, providing an improved user experience.

 

 

 

When creating new or editing existing eCheckSheets, you can now easily paste a list of check items to quickly generate a pass/fail item for each entry. This feature allows you to swiftly add placeholders for items copied from other sources, such as Excel.  Items that already exist are listed and can be rearranged.

 

 

Process Builder UI Improvements: The icons in the corners of the process builder tiles (blue boxes) were becoming crowded, and users would sometimes accidentally click on the corner icon while trying to drill down. To address this, these icons have been removed and replaced with a context menu represented by three vertical dots in the upper right corner of each tile. This change has also introduced new features, such as the ability to archive items at the area, station, and plan levels. The availability of these features depends on the user’s level. In the future, we plan to add more features to the context menu. An example feature would be the ability to add an eCheckSheet directly into the navigation constraints. Messages: Notifications and Alerts can now be targeted specifically at Product Serial Numbers. This feature can be utilized to inform users about part shortages or provide information related to a particular PSN. 

 

Auto Created Variable Templates: In order to resolve some issues with Model Manager properly handling variables, we are making some changes to how Templates are handled.  Three new templates are auto generated for for all eCheckSheets.  

• Area: ALL / Station: ALL - This template should be for variables that can be used across all areas and all stations.

• Area: [eCheckSheet Area] / Station: ALL - This template should be used for variables on any station within the current area.
• Area: [eCheckSheet Area] / Station: [eCheckSheet Station] - This template should be used for variables on the current station within the current area.
