Major Highlights:
Process Builder UI Improvements: The icons in the corners of the process builder tiles (blue boxes) were becoming crowded, and users would sometimes accidentally click on the corner icon while trying to drill down. To address this, these icons have been removed and replaced with a context menu represented by three vertical dots in the upper right corner of each tile. This change has also introduced new features, such as the ability to archive items at the area, station, and plan levels. The availability of these features depends on the user’s level. In the future, we plan to add more features to the context menu. An example feature would be the ability to add an eCheckSheet directly into the navigation constraints. Messages: Notifications and Alerts can now be targeted specifically at Product Serial Numbers. This feature can be utilized to inform users about part shortages or provide information related to a particular PSN.
Auto Created Variable Templates: In order to resolve some issues with Model Manager properly handling variables, we are making some changes to how Templates are handled. Three new templates are auto generated for for all eCheckSheets.
Area: ALL / Station: ALL - This template should be for variables that can be used across all areas and all stations.
- Area: [eCheckSheet Area] / Station: ALL - This template should be used for variables on any station within the current area.
- Area: [eCheckSheet Area] / Station: [eCheckSheet Station] - This template should be used for variables on the current station within the current area.
