Major Build Changes
Build Number 10.115.29.x
Overview
Welcome to the AIMSCO June 2022 Release. This build introduces a bunch of new eChecksheet features that enable a wide variety of eChecksheet and eCheckitem enhancements including a new eChecksheet Type and three new additions to the eCheckitem Library. In addition to these changes, this build also includes a variety of quality-of-life improvements and updates to enable new Equipment Integration Opportunities.
Zone Map eChecksheet
This build introduces the new Zone Map eChecksheet type. This feature allows for the creation of eChecksheets that function similarly to an IQ Map for multiple check items. This new type of eChecksheet is ideal for more visual based inspections use cases and can do a variety of functions such as creating an eChecksheet that has a visual representation of a station layout for large scale product checks. Unlike standard IQ Maps, the Zone Map requires an SVG based background imaged and will allow the use of SVG Polygons to link an image location to an eCheckitem. This allows for the creation of an eChecksheet that is more visual and easier to use, while also allowing the image to drive collection from any desired eCheckitem Type.
eCheckitem Library Expansion
This build introduces three new eCheckitem types that serve a variety of new functions and provide new ways to enhance the inspection process.
Conditional eCheckitem
The new Conditional eCheckitem is designed to make a group of eCheckitems optional depending on the result of eCheckitems within the group. This allows for new types of inspection flows such as requiring a Comment or Variable input if the user reports a defect on a Pass Fail eCI. Fundamentally, this eCheckitem works in a similar way to a Group or Step-By-Step eCheckitem and requires the use of a Break eCheckitem to stop the Conditional Chaining.
Trackout eCheckitem
This build also introduces the new Trackout eCheckitem. This allows for planners to provide specific types of Trackout Behaviors that can be embedded in any standard Check Item flows. This allows for specific Groups, Step-By-Step Flows, or Conditional Flows to trigger different Trackout steps as needed.
Test eCheckitem
The final new eCheckitem type we are introducing this month is the Test eCheckitem. This eCheckitem functions in a similar way to an Alpha Variable in terms of user interaction. Each Test eCheckitem can be configured to "test" the users inputted value against either the Part, Option Name, or Option Value. The current behavior of this control is in the early stages, and we recommend contacting sales@aimsco.com for additional details regarding use cases.
