Major Build Changes
Build Number 10.115.25.x
Overview
Welcome to the AIMSCO November 2021 Release. This month introduces further enhancements to the Messages UI with a new type of Step, Updates to the Model Management, and a variety of bug fixes.
Messages Enhancements
With this release, we focused on adding the Bubble Up Message Step. This allows Messages to alter the Checksheet Item display order by "Bubbling Up" desired Check Items. In addition to changing the Check Item order, the Bubble Up Step properties also allow the Message to apply overrides to control Default Values and Trackout behavior. Defining Bubble Up Steps require that the Message be set up with a Breadcrumb that points to an exact Checksheet.
Defining a Bubble Up can be done through the Messages interface.
Once a Bubble up is part of a message the target Check Items will be bubbled up in the Checksheet.
Model Management Changes
This release also introduces changes to the Model Management to handle larger models. During testing, adding large products to a Model took an extensive amount of time and would sometimes cause the application to become unresponsive. To prevent this going forward, we have updated the Model Management to process "Add to Model" and "Apply Model" operations in the background. Background processes can be tracked using the Bell icon, visible only to planners.
Changes
- Messages Breadcrumb selection has been re-ordered to handle target use cases more appropriately.
- Inspection Models now allows the deletion of an existing model.
- Inspection Models now allows for the removal of Checksheets, Plans, and Stations from an existing model.
- Creating new Inspection Plans from the Schedule Edit interface will now show Area field and will also default the Station and Area to the selected values in the Schedule Nav.
Bug Fixes
- Repair Page will no longer break in cases where the Check Item Description includes a single quote (').
- Advanced History and Results Review will no longer break when a Check Item Description includes a single quote (').
- Variable and MTS controls will now work properly in cases where the Check Item Description includes a single quote (').
- Fixed an issue that caused the Base Table Explorer to display Inspection Plans records for other plants.
- Base Table Explorer Import will now show a proper message display in cases where the Import Process removes duplicate rows.
- Base Table Explorer Import will now show an error message display in cases where the Import Process finds no changes in the Import File.
- Fixed a bug that prevented Inspection Plans from being created in the Schedule Edit Mode in some setup scenarios.
- Editing MTS Check Items in Checksheet Edit will now properly allow edit of the Characteristic.
- Editing Report Check Items in Checksheet Edit will now properly save edits to the Report Path.
- Fixed a bug with the Messages that caused the page to break when removing Breadcrumb Selections from the Message.

Overview
Welcome to the October 2021 Release of MLM from AIMSCO. This month introduces a new Preview Module, the new Messages feature for simple notifications, changes to the Step by Step Check Item, and bug fixes.
Preview Module
The new Preview Features Module provides a way to test "In Development" and "Preview" features. This allows Opt-In use of upcoming features to provide feedback and more direct guidance of current and future product features. You can see if you currently have the module using the Site Settings.
Model Management
The September build introduced the Model Management feature for Integrated Planning. This build fixes various issues with the new feature, but also moves the access to this feature to the Preview Features Module. Please contact Aimsco Support for Preview Access request and training on the Model Management feature.
Messages
This build introduces the first usable version of the new Messages for access in Preview Features Module. Although in the early stages, this feature will introduce a handful of powerful tools to planners including:
- Easy ways to communicate messages to operators directly within Checksheets
- Temporarily raise the importance of a Check Item within a Checksheet
- Create temporary Check Items to address temporary issues or field concerns In this current version, we are introducing the initial ability to alert operators when navigating into a Checksheet. This feature is still in it's early days, and requires the "Preview Features Module" to use.
Changes
- Step By Step Check Item can now be configured to allow Skip of various items within the Step By Step popup. Skipped items will be displayed in a separate pane to provide quick nav back to the Skipped Item.
- Step By Step Check Item control buttons have been updated to be larger for easier use with a touch screen.

Major Build Changes
Build Number 10.115.22.x
Overview
Welcome to the AIMSCO August 2021 Release. This month is a smaller overall build release that focused on bug fixes with some minor improvements to Run Timer Interaction, Checksheet Display, Base Table Editor.
Runtimer Interaction
This build re-introduces the Running Timer Warning Popup. This feature provides a way to easily stop timer check items that are running in the same checksheet but on a different PSN. This use case is ideal for cases where the Runtimer Check Item tracks process time that physically should not allow multiple PSNs in the same process concurrently. Although this feature existed in older versions of MLM, there were some issues with it including:
- confusing UI design
- Multiple Runtime items on a single Checksheet caused the popup to appear multiple times
- Stopping 1 or more of the PSNs listed did not give good feedback to the user indicating that the PSN was stopped
- In some cases interactions with the Checksheet would cause the popup to appear again when it should not With these issues in mind, we have re-introduced an updated version of these features that addresses these problems.
Checksheet Display
In some cases, Checksheets can not include any Check Items either due to Effectivity or a Planner removing check items. In these cases, the Checksheet would load with a blank area tha caused confusion to operators. In this build these cases will now display the Checksheet with a message indicating that the user has no inspections to complete on that Checksheet.
Base Table Editor
The Base Table Editor has received some minor improvements in the UI to reduce confusion when editing. Prior to this change, exiting the edit mode using the "Stop Edit Button" (not saving changes) would continue to show the edits in the table data even if the user did not save the changes. With this new build, exiting edit mode, the displayed table data will now refresh to display the current values in the database
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused new Checksheets to display an error in cases where the PSN used had already passed the given Station and had Effectivity applied.
- The IQ Map Pareto Report will now properly filter to the users Plant.
- Fixed a bug in Checksheet Edit that caused a Check Item validation error when adding a new Check Item and editing its parameters.
- Checksheet Edit Alpha Variable Characteristic selection will now properly refresh the displayed information after an Alpha Spec is deleted.
- Fixed a bug in the Checksheet Edit Alpha Variable Characteristic that displayed an error message when trying to create new Alpha Specs.
- Fixed an issue wit the Multi Defect Flow Map that caused a page crash when the Spot type was configured with a "YESNO" part in some cases.
- The Report Check Item will now honor the Auto Refresh Check Item Property.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Checksheet interface to no longer show te Condensed Check Item View Icon.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Advanced History to not save edits to the "Sample Date" field on Pass Fail Check Items with a pending defect.
- Fixed a bug that caused an error to be displayed in User Management when editing a user to add them to groups.
- The Disposition screen will now properly display the available Part filters based on the selected Station.
Minor Build Changes
MLM 10.115.22.2
- Fixed a bug that caused the Base Table Editor Import to throw an error when trying to import Part List records.
MLM UI 10.115.22.2
- Fixed a bug that improperly allowed users to Remove Defect records using the Pass button on a Pass Fail Control regardless of user permissions. Going forward, the Pass Fail control will properly honor the "Deselect Defect" role for this.

Build Number 10.115.15.x
Overview
Welcome to the AIMSCO January 2021 Release. This month's release focused on renewed work on Integrated Planning features including new Copy Checksheet Changes, Drawing Management, and User Management. In addition, this month introduces quite a few bug fixes.
Copy Checksheet Changes
The introduction of the Integrated Copy Checksheet introduced some major improvements to the process of building out checksheet changes to other checksheets. This build further enhances the copy checksheet process. You can now apply the most recent changes to other checksheets without copying all check items to the target. This allows for easier planning for common use cases such as:
- Adding a new check item to multiple check items
- Updating a common check item property across multiple check items This feature can be accessed through the same copy checksheet process.
Integrated User Management
This build further enhances the integrated planning capabilities by introducing User Management to the Site Gear. This User Management enables privileged users to do the standard capabilities from our older User Management interfaces including:
- Create User Groups
- Alter User Group users and roles
- Create new Users
- Update properties of an existing User In addition to these standard capabilities, we are also introducing an enhanced User Management Search capability that allows for easier overview of common inquiries including:
- Find all Users/Groups that have a given Role
- Find all Groups that contain a specific User
- Find all users that are within a given Group
Drawing Management
The Integrated Drawing Management has seen a handful of quality of life improvements in this build. The most user requested enhancement to drawing management allows users to manage drawings at the Site Gear. This allows for mass drawing import without requiring the navigation into a checksheet. In addition to this change, the in checksheet edit Drawing Manager will now open to the folder location of the existing thumbnail image. In addition, Drawing Manger will now allow delete of images that were just uploaded to allow for undo image upload when th image was uploaded to an incorrect folder.
New Logo
This build also introduces the new Aimsco Logo
Bug Fixes
In addition to these new Integrated Planning features, we have also fixed the following bugs.
- Log Out and Session Timeout events will no longer log you out of your Windows login when using single sign on
- Checksheet filters should now be sorted properly
- CTQ Flag is now available for Variable Check Items in the Integrated Planning
- Base Table Editor Help Icons should no longer be cut off and unreadable
